Yes. Our blast-resistant junction boxes meet ATEX and IECEx standards for Zone 1 and Zone 2 gas groups as well as combustible dust zones. The flameproof enclosure contains any internal explosion and prevents ignition of the surrounding atmosphere.
The pressurized control panel uses a continuous purge of clean instrument air to maintain a positive internal pressure. This prevents flammable gases or dust from entering the enclosure. A pressure monitor triggers alarms if the internal pressure drops below the safe threshold.
Absolutely. The cabinet includes internal mounting plates with pre-drilled patterns for controllers, terminal blocks, and power supplies. The gasketed door and compression latches maintain the seal even after repeated access for maintenance.
